CARE & STAFFING
Dovecote View is a family-owned, family-orientated, private residential care home for the elderly.
We provide personal care and support for up to 34 residents, and pride ourselves in providing high quality care. We promote person-centred, personalised care, taking into account each individual's preferences, likes and dislikes. Our aim is to keep you as happy and healthy as possible, in beautiful comfortable surroundings.
We are able to cater to residents with short term memory loss and the early stages of Dementia, and pride ourselves in maintaining our Resident's independence and well-being, by catering an individualised care package around those suffering from memory loss.
We are like one big family here at Dovecote View, and our Staff are our greatest asset. Each member of staff has a vital role to play in supporting each resident, and our staff are recruited for their caring natures and their passion for their role. We will get to know you and your extended family, and will keep your relatives/next of kin involved and updated as much as possible in your life here at Dovecote View.
Talisa, our Registered Home Manager, has worked at Dovecote View for over 16 years, and has been the Home's Manager for the last 12 years. She is passionate about providing the best care possible, and believes if it's not good enough for her own Mum or Nan, then it's not good enough for anybody else's! She is also passionate about residents living life to the full, and wants the Home to be buzzing with laughter, activities, and visitors.
Many of our staff have worked for Dovecote View for a number of years, and this allows for continuity of care. Our Staff are compassionate, knowledgeable, and above all, caring. We will not only care for you or your loved one but will also become like friends, and you will hear a lot of laughter around the Home. Our staff want to know about your life history, want to know your preferences, but most importantly, want to know you and your family.
